According to the Secretariat of the National Iranian Nursing Research Network based in Tabriz, the fifth meeting of the "Development of research priorities of the Nursing Research Network and related monitoring" working group was held on Saturday, December 4^th, in the presence of the members of the working group, and the esteemed chairman of the network.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Leyla Valizadeh, while welcoming the esteemed audience, provided a summary of the activities carried out related to the working group and pointed out the need for monitoring the evaluation of research priorities. They also thanked the previous members of the working group for their previous efforts. Dr. Ali Fakhr Movahedi gave a lecture on the evaluation of research priorities and considered the first steps as transparency of the process and method of setting priorities. They also addressed the typology of research priorities in 5 categories: Implementation, Evaluation, Cause, Solution and Problem, which should be considered in finalizing the priorities. They also stressed the need to pay attention to all types of priorities not on one type only, and it was decided to add the proposed evaluation to the package of research priorities and the relevant process.
